So The Hive is planning a gown workshop for the weekend after the Hermione is in Boston. So while that's helpful for folks like me, who still have a lot to learn, it's absolutely useless for anyone who wants a new gown to meet the ship when she's in Boston.

I'm guessing they just weren't able to schedule it any sooner, but still. Kinda weird

One more odd snippet from Sunday’s Hive workshop. I mentioned the table where they were selling fabric and pattern kits (everything you need to make a shift or bed gown, just add sewing!). One of the women was admiring the fabric in one of the kits, and asked the woman behind the table (who looked familiar for some reason, she may have been one ( Read more... )
